Contractor Survival Guide Course Three: The Business of Running a Minnesota Contracting Business.

Contractor Survival Guide Courses One and Two cover construction law and the MN Building Code, Course Three: The Business of Running a Minnesota Contracting Business Covers everything else.

Are you sure you have the correct organization for your business, are you keeping current with all the regulatory filings you must make as a Minnesota Contractor? Have you ever really wanted to have someone to ask?

For instance, did you know that the MN Department of Labor is involved with how you classify your employees or subcontractors? Misclassify one or the other and you could be looking at a $10,000.00 dollar fine! Also did you know that our governor has told his Department heads to start sharing data across department borders. Get in trouble with DLI and you just might find yourself having a discussion with a Department of Revenue or OSHA Investigator to boot.
